Location The southern end of the Korean Peninsula at the western portion of the Kyongsangnam-do Province. With the Namgang River flowing through it, it resembles the Toyogawa River flowing through Toyohashi.
Schools 6 Universities, 21 High Schools, 20 Junior High Schools, 44 Primary Schools, 72 Pre Schools, 1 Specialty School. With the student population making up 33.4% of the city population, it is a center of education.
